Why I Started Curating Edits
Curating Edits started because we are all curators and editors of our lives. We like what we like. There doesn’t need to be more of an explanation than that. To me, we are all curators. This is just where I showcase what I like.
There is a vast amount of blogs out on the World Wide Web. Our social media platforms gravitate us to less reading and more seeing. Many articles and Influencers did contemplate if the “end” of blogging was around the corner. It might be. I certainly don’t have the answers to that. And still, I decided to start Curating Edits.
Partly influenced by the energetic Gary Vaynerchuk (check out his podcast or visit his website). What he said about creating content online, stuck with me. Then I hid behind the idea of things needing to be perfect before I started. The response to that excuse was him saying “It doesn’t have to be perfect, just start”. And for every excuse I could think of, a Gary Vee response was awaiting me on social media. So then I just started.
A Space For Curating Edits
Carving out a space, my space, a curated space. Plus, I’m turning another year. A year that ends with a zero, by the way. Do I get a do-over? Yes, I think I deserve one. A year of transitions. This blog section of Curating Edits will include a change of career. Maybe a relocation? Growth? Self-improvement. Bits and pieces of me. Not all of me, the edited version of me if we are being transparent.
Why I Started Curating Edits
That is why I started Curating Edits, I wanted to share what I like. If you’re gravitating to what I like, then that’s great. If in the process you find something you truly enjoy, that’s more than I could’ve ever hoped for.
With hopes that it can help you. Motivate you. Entertain. Push you. To carve your own curated space on the Internet.
Then we’re all winning!
