Lisa Ling, is an American journalist, media personality, and author. Margaret Cho, is an American stand-up comedian, actress, LGBT social activist, and musician. Her show “All-American Girl” was talked about in this episode. Nancy Wang Yuen is an American sociologist. She specializes in race and ethnicity in film, television, and media. Particularly in Asian American bias and representation of Hollywood. Nancy Wang Yuen authored a book on the subject. “Reel Inequality: Hollywood Actors and Racism: available on Amazon. She has also co-produced documentaries like “Mass Confucian: Language Learning or Communist Propaganda?” and “Living in Silence: Toraichi Kono. She also edited Power Women: Stories of Motherhood, Faith, and the Academy, as she is also a professor of Sociology and has been chair of the sociology department of Biola University.
