As you may know if you’ve been around the blog for a while. I am deep into using my planner this year. Committed! That blog post can be checked here. Well, I have added a new addition to my organizational process I thought I’d share with you. It is Mel Robbins’s “The High 5” Daily Journal.

Adding the High 5 daily journal to my daily routine has worked wonders. You don’t have to use it at the same time as you’re planning your week with your agenda/planner, but it helps.

See when you have jotted everything down on your planner, it could be jarring to stare at all the things you want to accomplish. Whether that’s over-committing yourself to activities, and dates. Or just wanting to tackle a long to-do list.

Do Not Panic

When you’re about to start backpedaling out of things. Or your train of thought goes into “there’s no way I can do all of this” The HIGH 5 will be your best companion. The daily journal by Mel Robbins will help you be intentional with your habits.

You can use The High 5 daily journal in various settings. I reach for it every day. Especially when I have stared into what I’ve scheduled in my agenda for the day.  It will guide you to “Settle Your Body”, “Clear Your Mind”, and “Free Your Spirit”.  The daily journal entry ends with a visualization exercise.

Check-In with Yourself

It’s used as a pep-talk or as a way for me to check in with myself.  Knowing this High 5 moment will allow the clarity and confidence to overcome anything.  Check out The High 5 Daily Journal HERE*.  You can also check out The High 5 Habit book, HERE* to see all the benefits you can get from using the method by Mel Robbins.
