You can still have a good time and enjoy a nice beverage without needing the beverage to have alcohol to make it pretty or to have a good time. That is why we have curated this list of non-alcoholic spirits options for adult beverages.

Non-alcoholic Spirits Drinks

Here are 4 starter non-alcoholic spirit drinks you can enjoy. These are versions of classic drinks adapted to meet your needs.

Aside from the ingredients for each recipe, you will also need the following: 

  • Shaker
  • Muddle
  • Strainer
  • Ice

Virgin Mojito:

    • 2 ounces white rum flavored syrup (check out Jordan’s Skinny Mixes* or DaVinci Gourmet)
    • 1-ounce lime juice
    • 10 mint leaves
    • 1 teaspoon of sugar
    • Club soda

Prepare:

Combine the syrup, lime juice, mint leaves, and sugar in a shaker and muddle until the mint is crushed and the sugar is dissolved. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Strain the mixture into a glass with ice. Top it with club soda. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.

Non-alcoholic Whiskey Sour:

    • 1  1/2 ounces of lemon juice
    • 1-ounce simple syrup
    • 1/2 ounce orange juice
    • 1/2 ounce grenadine
    • Dash of bitters
    • Cherry and orange slice (for garnish)

Prepare:

Combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, orange juice, grenadine, and bitters in a shaker and shake well.  Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.  Garnish your glass with a cherry and an orange slice.

Non-alcoholic Gin and Tonic:

    • 2 ounces of tonic syrup (like Monin)
    • 1-ounce lime juice
    • 1/2 teaspoon juniper berry syrup
    • Club soda
    • Lime wedge (for garnish)

Prepare:

Combine the tonic syrup, lime juice, and juniper berry syrup in a shaker and shake well. Fill a glass with ice and strain the mixture over the ice. Top with club soda and garnish with a lime wedge.

Virgin Margarita:

    • 2 ounces tequila flavored syrup (like Torani or Finest Call)
    • 1-ounce lime juice
    • 1-ounce orange juice
    • 1 teaspoon of sugar
    • Salt (for rimming the glass) Try Collins White Margarita Salt Rimmer*

Prepare:

Combine the syrup, lime juice, orange juice, and sugar in a shaker and shake well. Rim a glass with salt.  In all honesty, I like to rim the glass with sugar instead of salt. Twang-A-Rita* has a variety of sugars. Fill the glass with ice and strain the mixture over the ice.  Garnish with a lime wedge.

Bonus Recipe!

Non-Alcoholic Raspberry Collins:

    • 2 ounces raspberry syrup (check out Monin or Torani*)
    • 1-ounce lemon juice
    • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
    • Club soda
    • Raspberries and lemon slice (for garnish)

Prepare:

Combine the raspberry syrup, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker and shake well. Fill a glass with ice and strain the mixture over the ice. Top with club soda and garnish with raspberries and a lemon slice.
